This Mission is being led by the Friars of Primitive Observance (http://fpofriars.weebly.com/about-us.html). Incredibly 2 of the 4 Friars that are leading this Mission walked from their home base of Roxbury, MA to Westerly, RI. It took these 2 Friars 5 days which needless to say is both impressive and inspiring. This act of sacrifice and devotion captures the essence of Lent. 1.) If you would like to have a pew refurbished in your name or the name of a loved one, call the Rectory Office and reserve one. The donation amount for the pew is $1500.00. Also, you have the option of a commemorative plaque which would be placed on the pew.
